If you are a Tele Thinline lover like I am, always looking for a special example, please read on. Offered is this marvelous Custom Shop Nocaster Thinline built by Master Builder Chris Fleming in 2004.

This guitar has a very lightweight Ash body with Fender's Closet Classic (light relic) aging and a butterscotch nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The aging consists of a few light dimples, lots of finish checking and a bit of artificial wear here and there (see photos). The guitar's total weight is just 6 pounds, 4 ounces. The Maple neck has a shape that the build sheet calls a "57 Style Soft V" with depth measurements of .89" at the 1st fret and .99" at the 12th fret. The fretboard radius is 9.5", the frets are 6100 jumbos and the bone nut has a width of 1.650". The electronics include a Twisted Tele single coil in the neck, a Nocaster single coil in the bridge, master volume, master tone, a three-way switch and modern wiring.

Pick this beauty up and you know after just a few notes that it is quite special. It is more lively than your typical Telecaster and it plays with superb ease. The tone is classic Tele "spank" with a touch of additional woodiness. Check out the provided sound sample and hear for yourself. The chunky, very soft V-shaped neck feels superb.

The authentic factory aging gives it a vintage vibe that you will love. The big frets remain in great condition. It comes in it's original G&G tweed "thermometer" style case along with the certificate of authenticity, the ash tray bridge cover and various other accessories.
